The following criteria must be kept in mind to ensure a strong and durable bonding between two surfaces using adhesives:

• Adhesive should be dissolvable on the used surfaces
• The selected adhesive should be able to covalently bond with the material
• The adhesive should be able to spread/applied easily on the surfaces
• The surface properties of the materials to be bonded should be checked and microscopically rough
• Surface deformations/dirts that cause weakness on the surfaces should be removed
• The viscosity of the adhesive to be used should be checked if it’s suitable for use.
