ABS (Acrylonitrile Butadiene Styrene)
Build your world
Acrylonitrile Butadiene Styrene (ABS) is a terpolymer synthesized by the polymerization of acrylonitrile and styrene monomers alongside polybutadiene. Acrylonitrile provides hardness, heat and chemical resistance to the product. Styrene monomer imparts good processability to ABS, while butadiene makes the product harder and more resistant even at low temperatures.
Our ABS resins are easily injection molded, extrusion molded, vacuum molded, thermoformed and blow molded, and final products have excellent dimensional stability and a glossy surface. They also have excellent secondary process characteristics, such as adhesion, plating, painting and vaporization.
Flame-retardant ABS resin approved by UL and CSA has an outstanding physical balance, impact strength, weather resistance and chemical resistance. It is suitable for home electronics and office automation equipment that require a flame-retardant quality, such as computer monitors and TV housings. A variety of choices are available depending on the finished product’s size, thickness, structure, etc.
Our ABS products have FDA (Food Compliance), RoHS, EC, REACH and UL certificates.
