APPLICATION DESCRIPTION

Polyethylene (PE) is a white, semi-permeable and highly durable polymer. Its most distinctive feature is its resistance to chemicals. Polyethylene provides economical packaging of foods that have a long shelf life, chemicals to be transported safely and products that need to be protected from scratches.

As the density of polyethylene increases, toughness, durability and softening temperature increases.

Polyethylene types are:

HDPE (High Density Polyethylene)
LDPE (Low Density Polyethylene)
LLDPE (Linear Low Density Polyethylene)
