Polycarbonate (PC) is one of the important engineering plastics that is transparent, resistant to corrosion, self-extinguishing when ignited, changes little in size with time and heat, has very low moisture absorption, and in addition to all these, it has very good mechanical properties.

The molecular chain weight can be designed during polymerization to give the polycarbonate different fluidity (MFR or MFI).

Polycarbonate has superior UV resistance, which can be further enhanced by adding UV stabilizers. Polycarbonate is suitable for both injection molding and extrusion.
