In a following post-forming process, the profiled carrier can then be covered seamlessly with a decor material to create a rounded edge on the worktop or the windowsill. Specially adapted dispersions or hot melt adhesives are the adhesives of choice for this procedure. The border between the edge and the coating on the underside is additionally sealed with a PUR hot melt adhesive to improve the moisture resistance of the product.
